snail under the anchor

Down the graveyard the snail lied in peace.
That marble tombstone was just ten feets close to the grave where Persy B. Shelley rests since 1822.
The stone for Shelley reads "cor cordium" ("cuor dei cuori", "heart of the hearts").
I liked this very much.
